New Dubai Contract for BanaBay
BanaBay has secured its first contract in Dubai, the International Food Network (IFN).
This is the first deal involving the supply of bananas from BanaBay’s new growing partners’ plantations in the Philippines.
The trial period will run from Mid-August to the end of the year commencing with one container week of conventional bananas delivered to the customer via the port at Jebel Ali.
Attracted by the BanaBay proposition of supply, price, quality, packaging and service, upon completing a satisfactory trial, BanaBay hopes to develop the relationship further with IFN and is exploring a number of exciting options.
IFN is a relatively new enterprise which is part of the Socioeconomic & Environmental Development Corporation. As well as running its own farms, IFN markets and distributes fresh produce with a focus on the health benefits of good fresh food.
BanaBay offers synergy with IFN’s vision and is looking forward to a successful partnership as Business Development Manager Harley Williams says:
“IFN can expect us to deliver the quality, consistency, dependability, customer support and integrity required. I am very pleased to be working with a likeminded organisation such as IFN and coupled with the Hussain Al Qurashi Group business recently secured, demonstrates how the BanaBay brand is making strong progress in the Middle Eastern market.”
